I really enjoyed this well-crafted thriller with a rich vein of truth. Weaving many threads and worldwide locations Peter Snelson draws on his travel and life experiences to bring an evocative tale of coincidence, greed, love and the supernatural. The Sixth Handshake is the perfect concoction of suspense, mystery, and a little bit of romance in a fast-paced, twisty story. I loved the journey from the Thai islands of Koh Samui and Koh Ngai to the submarine silos of Montenegro and evocative memories of a London pub on a snowy afternoon. This book left me unnerved and mulling over the thought that some of this actually happened right under our noses. Sometimes it made me laugh. Full of surprises, there’s more than meets the eye to each character and each chapter left me feeling puzzled and wanting to know more.
